Led resource development efforts during Director's leave, securing $690,000 in grant funding from local foundations and banks. This project included leading the grant cycle process, providing strategic guidance on resource development and data management, serving as the key liaison with funders, and managing the project management database.
Led strategic planning process for NYC BOLD program, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) multi-year funded grant at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. This project included authoring and designing the NYC BOLD five-year strategic plan, analyzing results of a dementia needs assessment, supporting facilitation of four strategic planning and implementation workgroups, and planning the first in-person coalition summit.
Provided guidance and project management support for the poster session at the bi-annual summit for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's hypertension initiative, Take the Pressure Off, NYC! This project included planning and facilitating two meetings of the Summit Planning Committee, recruiting and providing technical assistance to 13 community and healthcare organizations to draft and finalize conference posters.
Provided strategic input and recommendations for TPO, NYC! program sustainability and maintenance, including developing a guide on how to create a multi-sector coalition, supporting successful grant application efforts, securing $1.5 million in funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to improve blood pressure control among Black Medicaid members in Brownsville, Brooklyn.
